FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE
“Everything looks fine.”
You’ve probably heard that. Maybe more than once.
But you’re still tired, or your gut is a mess, or your cycle is doing something it didn’t used to and nobody seems particularly concerned except for you.
If I had to guess, I’d say 80% of my patients aren’t optimal when I look at their Vitamin D or at their iron panel with ferritin. Most of them have already been told their numbers are fine.
Normal is a range. Optimal is where you feel like yourself again.

WHAT THIS ACTUALLY IS
Most of the work happens before we talk.
BEFORE
You send it over
You send me your bloodwork, whatever symptoms you want to change, and what you're actually trying to get back to.
TWO TO THREE HOURS
I go through it properly
Then I go through it all properly. Not scanning for what got flagged. That's already been done, and it's how you ended up being told everything looked fine.
I'm looking at where each number actually sits against what's optimal and looking at the results holistically for trends and patterns because one marker on its own doesn't always tell you much. It's how they line up with each other, and with what you're actually feeling, that shows what's going on.
That's the part that takes the real time, and it's the part that usually hasn't been done adequately.
AN HOUR, VIRTUAL
We sit down together
Then we sit down, virtually, and I walk you through it. I explain what I am currently seeing, what that may indicate, and what hasn't been tested that probably should be. We discuss habits that may be working against you and what lifestyle changes will actually move the needle. We also may consider the role of supplements and which may be worth the money and which ones you can stop buying altogether.
The goal is to leave with a plan that you can actually start with clear, actionable steps.
A reference range only tells you that you look like most of the other people who got tested.
It doesn't tell you that you're healthy and thriving.
TESTING
What I run, and what I don't.
I primarily focus on comprehensive bloodwork and stool testing. I can also order additional functional medicine tests such as micronutrient testing, DUTCH, OAT, and total toxin panels. While I understand and can interpret the testing, certain treatments like hormone replacement and prescription pharmaceuticals are outside of my scope and I will refer out to trusted professionals.
If you already have labs, send them. Most people do, and most of the time nobody has walked them through what’s actually in there.
Testing is separate from the session.
A panel of bloodwork may cost as little as $50 but functional medicine testing may cost a few hundred dollars. I'll tell you exactly what it costs before you commit to anything. I'm not going to run tests you don't need.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Anyone, anywhere.
Most of the people I see for this have already been to their regular doctors and hit a dead end. Fatigue. Hormones. Gut symptoms. The things that never quite add up to a diagnosis but are running your life anyway.
You don’t have to be a physical therapy patient or live in the state of Florida to receive services.
WHAT IT COSTS
Functional medicine
First session
$200
Virtual, 60 minutes
Virtual, an hour together. Before that, I'll go through your labs and your history properly. That takes me approximately two to three hours, and it's where most of the work is.
Follow-up
$155
Virtual, 45 minutes
Virtual, 45 minutes. For when you've made changes and we want to see what moved, or you've had new labs run and need someone to actually read them.
Book a functional medicine session.
Everything happens virtually. Once you book, I'll send you an intake and what to upload.
THE MASTERCLASSES
Want to understand your own body better?
Not everything needs an appointment. Sometimes the thing you need isn’t a plan. It’s an explanation. It’s hard to make a good decision about your health when every source tells you something different.
That’s what the masterclasses are for. One topic a month, I dive deep into a different health topic: Why it happens, what your labs are actually showing you, what optimal looks like versus what’s just inside the range, and what to do about it.
For rehab providers
If you're a rehab provider who wants to learn to interpret bloodwork, understand the body systems deeper, and treat the whole person with a root cause approach rather than just focusing on the primary complaint or symptoms, start here.
